What is argan oil:
Argan oil is a vegetal oil that is made from kernels from
fruits that grow of the the tree Argania Spinosa. This tree only
grows in the south of Morocco. Thats why its scarce.
There are two different oils that are being made from these
kernels. You have the cosmetic argan oil and the culinary oil. In
order to make the culinary oil, We have to roast the kernels and
press this into a eatable oil. This oil has a pleasant nuts smell
and has a dark color.
The cosmetic argan oil is pressed without roastering it and has a
gold color. It has almost no smell and completely disappears after
applying on the skin. Cosmetic argan oil is intended to use
externally. It directly goes into the hair and skin.
The advantages of pure argan oil:
Argan oil contains a lot of Vitamin E and carotene, these
both are antioxidants. Vitamin E is a powerful biological
antioxidant that has the attribute to heal and repair your skin and
slowing down the process of aging of the skin. The upper skin
contains collagen and elastin which take care of the structure and
resilience of the skin. Influences from outside like smoking, car
gases, central heating and the weather could damage your skin. That
makes the arise of wrinkles or a unclear skin.
Essential fat acids are acids which the body doesnt make itself.
That doesnt mean that it doesnt need fat acids to function optimal.
These acids need to be taken by eating the culinary oil or using
the cosmetic oil externally. Argan oil also helps to balance the
moister of the skin and a sebum production. Thats why this oil is
usable for all skin types.
